First impressions are everything. They set the tone for your entire stay. We arrived four hours prior to check in time but the agent was very welcoming and found us an available unit with no hassle. Every single employee at Tahiti Village had the same attitude. Helpful and friendly. We stayed in the spacious two bedroom suite. It was beautiful. The grounds are beautiful too. We had a car but their shuttle service made it unnecessary. It was as close to perfect as a stay can be.

Not a casino, good for families or adult-only stay near the strip. Love the lazy river and adult-only jacuzzi. Great pizza and free shuttle to the strip.

The grounds are beautiful and the people are friendly. However the rooms are quite outdated. We had a view of the pool & lazy river which was lovely, but it was through a window because there was no balcony. The pool and lazy river were beautiful but they won't allow you to bring in a cooler with any type orfrefreshements. Not water, soda or adult beverages. There is a pool bar where you have to buy everything. Because of this, we chose not to use the pool. I don't mind paying for drinks on vacation and am prepared for high prices, but at my hotel, I should have the option of bringing in a cooler with my own drinks. It was very family oriented and inviting, but when in the dessert, hydration is super important. And when on vacation, adults like to enjoy some adult beverages, especially when they don't have to drive. I shouldn't have to pay premium prices at the pool bar. Families with children shouldn't have to pay for snacks and beverages for children.

If you have a kitchen, be sure to bring a wash rag and dish towels, they are not provided. Be sure to request the cleaning that is free mid week. Make sure they vacuum! Ours was not! The kitchen floor was not cleaned! The dryer lent vent was missing and it sounded like it was on its last leg. Also, no dryer sheets available. The mattress was so used it had a dip. Had to sleep in middle of bed to be comfortable.
